The men generally attend the weekday Masses and the girls and boys assist at the weekends and on Holy Days. The main services are always attended by one or more of the servers and we try ensure that each person has a turn. There is no upper age limit for an Altar Server(!) but the young people must have already made their First Holy Communion.
Anyone who wishes to be part of our team is most welcome - just come to the sacristy before 11.00 am Mass. No formal training is given but support and guidance a always available so that duties can be learned as you go along. All that is requirt is enthusiasm and reliability and a proper respect for the liturgy at which we serve.
